Since 2007, the shipping company le Passeur des Îles has been sailing the Gulf of Morbihan aboard traditional wooden passenger boats, built between the 1960s and 1970s in Brittany shipyards. Our boats can accommodate from 25 to 98 passengers.

Le Passeur des Îles perpetuates the craft of the traditional ferryman, using the old waterways and the current (the Jument current is the 2nd strongest in Europe) to limit its impact on the environment of the Gulf of Morbihan. The use of the wind became an obvious choice, giving rise to the Pass'Avel project, the first hybrid sailing and electric passenger vessel.
